Everything You Need To Know
Once you have been selected to participate in the upcoming Tower Fitness Corporate Boxing show, you will need to commit to at least 2 training sessions a week. This is a minimum requirement and the more weekly sessions you attend the more you will learn and practice your boxing skills as well as getting much fitter.
The first few weeks of your training will all be about your fitness, footwork and technique. As part of your package we provide you with gloves, headguard and hand wraps, you will need to purchase your own gumshield though. Next we move onto light body sparring while completing the minimum 3 x 2 minute rounds as we get you used to realising the level of stamina you will need on the night. From body sparring we move to light head sparring, usually during the second month of training. Your time will then be spent upping your fitness level while the sparring gets heavier and more serious during the build to the big fight night.
The Tower Fitness Corporate Boxing session times are:
- Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday evenings from 7.30pm till 9pm
- Tuesday & Thursday afternoons from 1.30pm till 2.45pm
- Saturday mornings from 9.30am till 10.45am
Should you require extra private one to one training with Jackson Williams this can be arranged with Jackson seperately either at a regular session or by calling 03333 581 111. Private training sessions are for an hour and £20.
When agreeing to take part in the Tower Fitness Corporate Boxing show, you will be required to pay £260 which includes as many training sessions as you can take each week for 12 weeks, your own sparring gloves, headguard and handwraps, shorts and vest top for the big night all to keep as well as immortality on our website with pics and a video of your fight that you can show your kids and grand kids for years to come!
You can either pay the full amount at the start of your training or half at the start and the remaining balance at the half way point.
The last part of your Tower Fitness Corporate Boxing commitment is that each participant must sell at least 15 tickets each. The more you sell, the more support you will get on the night. With each matched bout, the boxer who has sold the most tickets will get to enter the ring last, as the champions do in professional boxing. This gives you a slight advantage as your opponent has to wait for you to enter!
